Grace & Power in Your Hands:
An Introduction to the Art of Mudra
with Katherine Carbone
Learn a sequence of mudras you can practice at home
to re-charge and harmonize your chakra system.
Mudras are the sacred hand gestures of yoga, connecting the
subtle energy channels of the body, mind and spirit. Throughout
the ages mudras have been utilized to balance, heal and empower
individuals and communities. We’ll prepare for the subtle practice
of mudra and meditation with a gentle flowing hatha yoga warm-
up, along with complementary practices of pranayama (yogic
breathing) and mantra (yogic chanting). These yogic practices
will be integrated with expressive arts to enhance your total
learning experience.

The Gita Study
with Judy McClain
Never was there a time when I was not I
And you were not you...
- Saturday, January 10: 12-2:30
- Sunday, January 11: 12-2:30
at
Innerlight Center for Yoga
One of the oldest, most beautiful, and continuously relevant spiritual texts
ever set to paper, the Bhagavad Gita speaks directly to the heart of the
aspirant. Studying the Gita is an act of Sadhana, creating a shift in the
consciousness of those whose hearts and minds are set on God. From this
ancient text spring the aspirations relevant to yogis today: knowledge of
the Self; karmic service; kriya yoga; loving-kindness; and living the life
of a yogi.
Join me for a two-session lecture/Sadhana on one of the greatest books ever
written.
