Kimberly McClure

Always evolving...on the mat, on the stage, and in the world.  Kimberly is a yoga teacher and Wellness Coach.  She holds a certificate in Wellness Counseling from Cornell University, has an extensive background in the fields of education, theater and the arts, and is an RYT-200.
Her first introduction to yoga was a workshop for beginners at Kripalu in the late 90’s. Now 25 years in, she continually returns to the yoga mat for the opportunity to reconnect, re-engage, and reset.
Initially trained in 2017 with Andrew Tanner, Elements3Yoga, she since completed apprenticeship with beloved Massachusetts teacher Jacqui Bonwell,  is certified in Subtle®Yoga, and in Trauma Informed Brain Sensitive Yoga with Sarajoy Marsh and the Daya Foundation.
Kimberly's style is warm, welcoming and engaging.  In her classes she encourages students toward personalization of their practice with a pace and tone to suit. Her teaching encourages steadiness, intentional movement and overall integrity. She has been told that guiding a relaxation into savasana is one of her superpowers!
Kimberly volunteers teaching time to serve the Veteran community at the Open Spirit Center in MA where she lived for 25 years before moving full-time to the Newport area.  During covid the rest of her teaching moved online where she continues to work individually with yoga students and coaching clients, engaging in the ongoing lifework of understanding ourselves more fully and investing in our well being.
