Join Diane Cozine, RYT 500, ERYT 200 and explore gentle and effective Qi Gong practices that help promote women’s health by reducing stress, building strength and stamina and helping us to age with agility and grace.
Qi Gong is an ancient Chinese healing method that combines physical postures, breathing techniques and focused intention. This class is based on teachings from Deborah Davis, Lac, MAOM and author of “Women’s Qigong for Health and Longevity.”
Some of the practices we will explore include Deborah Davis’ “Dynamic Woman form,” Dantian breathing, qigong warm-up exercises, stances, qigong walking and meditation. We will end our practice with gentle yoga followed by a deep relaxation. This practice is gentle and easy to follow – all levels are welcome.
