Are you looking for serenity before the holiday season?
Are you curious what a sound bath is?
We would like to invite you to experience the deep meditative qualities of a sound bath.
Our sound baths offer you an opportunity to relax with a guided meditation followed by
45 minutes of soothing sounds from gongs, singing bowls, drums, chimes and other instruments.
Your only task is to get comfortable and let the sounds wash over you.
Past participants have reported deep feelings of rest, relaxation, inspiration, insight and a sense of connection with others and the universe.
It is truly something to experience and our donation based event is the perfect opportunity to try it out while also offering support to our local community.
We have selected the MLK Center as our recipient and although a donation is not required, registration for the event is. Please join us for the meaningful experience.
What is a Sound Bath?
A sound bath is a deeply meditative experience where you are “bathed” in healing sound waves. Unlike the melodies and rhythms you may encounter at concerts or on the radio, sound baths focus on creating a carefully curated wash of sounds from instruments that help promote deep relaxation and balance. Allow the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls, chimes, shakers, drums, and more to wash over you. Sound baths are perfect for relieving stress, calming the mind, and creating a peaceful environment which promotes healing.
The session will begin with a guided meditation to ease you into relaxation, setting the stage for an uplifting healing experience.

Benefits:
Sound Baths are a way of achieving a mediative state by allowing the vibration of sound to heal on multiple levels. It is scientifically proven that sound affects the biochemicals in your brain which shifts our brainwaves to states associated with deep relaxation, creative thought, rest and recovery where healing happens on a cellular level. Sound can activate the body’s self-healing capacity.
Among many other benefits, studies have shown that sound can help:
lower blood pressure,
lower heart rate,
improve mood,
alleviate stress & tension
reduce feelings of anxiousness,
improve sleep
enhance creativity,
increase neural connectivity,
improve quality of life, and
deepen meditation
